MacCallister Higgins - CEO - Engineer
MacCallister Higgins is the CEO of Nevada Dynamics. Additionally, he is helping lead the Udacity self-driving car effort with his unique leadership and engineering background. Previously, he worked on real-time Radar and Lidar sensor systems at SNC, developing next-generation environmental and physical awareness technologies for both fixed wing and rotor aircraft. MacCallister graduated from the department of Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Nevada, Reno, with multi-disciplinary research roles in the fields of Human-Robot Interaction and large-scale control of Unmanned Autonomous Systems for the UNR Robotics group, including failure contingencies and safety systems. He also worked at the Polymer Microsystems (PlUS) Lab under Dr. Geiger from early 2011 to 2014.
Mitch Warden - Business Dev Lead
Mitch Warden is a mechanical engineering major at the University of Nevada, Reno. Mitch brings design and testing experience in automated robotics systems, specifically laboratory automation technologies. Mitch has a wide variety of responsibilities at Nevada Dynamics ranging from hands on technical building, to business development duties. He also assumes a research analyst position, and oversees numerous research projects.
David Frank - Lead Engineer
David Frank is the lead engineer for Nevada Dynamics. Recently, he graduated from the University of Nevada with a Masters of Computer Science, focusing on machine learning and robotics. Merely one year before, he graduated Cum Laude from UNR with a BS in Computer Science and minor in Mathematics. He has experience as a Software Development Intern at NASA Ames Research Center, where he implemented computer vision techniques for existing robotics systems. His vast knowledge of machine learning, distributed systems, and geospatial technology, drives the development of Nevada Dynamic’s Path Planning Software.
Robert Jones - CMO
Robert currently works as an Analyst for ABUV Media, #11 on INC magazine’s fastest growing marketing startups. Previously, he graduated from UNR with a BS in Neuroscience and a minor in Mathmatics. During his college years he worked in Dr. Heidi La Bash’s PTSD Research Lab. Though he has dabled in python coding for ABUV (mostly pandas), he doesn’t plan on becoming a developer and uses coding as more of a tool for growth. Robert brings a much needed scientific approach to modern marketing analytics.
